All fear, all the time...

In a brief but illuminating glimpse of the warped word of the rightwinger, we have the following posting from "Bob":

Until you folks understand our enemies are not "criminals" or "soldiers representing a country" you will never understand why this war on terrorism is like no other war we have ever fought, and the enemy is not like any enemy we have ever had to face.

However, as long as you operate with the belief that these terrorists are subject to "a trial by a jury of one's peers", we as a country are a serious risk of another attack.
Well, "Bob":

The US can NEVER be made completely safe from attacks and it's rather crazy to be obsessed with trying to do so.

The BEST way -- bar none -- to protect America from future such attacks is to STOP MAKING ENEMIES by ATTACKING OTHERS, STEALING THEIR RESOURCES, KILLING THEIR CIVILIANS and TRYING TO IMPOSE OUR WARPED IDEOLOGIES UPON THEM.

I refuse to live in fear like you. Americans were once able to hold their heads high in pride as the "good guys". A string of Republican corporate toadies since the late 1960s has done their best to ensure we are despised around the globe. Once we sweep these nasty cockroaches out of our system, we will once again be able to reclaim our honor.
